Construcciones Otero undertook this project as part of the work required for the building of Line 1 of the Granada Metro system.
The goal was to modify the rainwater discharge outlet for the northern part of the city, which runs parallel to the A-44 highway, taking it deeper to enable the Metro to cross beneath the Granada by-pass and the Granada-Moraleda rail line.
