BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

One-off projects

Specialists in sustainable construction

We are experts in sustainable construction, so our one-off projects stand out not just for their design, versatility and effectiveness but also for their environmental friendliness.

Sustainable construction: materials used

At Construcciones Otero, we select our materials so as to minimise environmental impact. Always ensuring that the required standards of functionality, safety and liveability are met, when we work with construction materials we assess the depletion of natural resources that they entail, the emissions that they may produce and how they will behave as waste at the end of their useful lifetime.

Sustainable construction: energy consumption

We provide construction solutions that factor in passive energy systems such as heat insulation, shapes, ventilation, heat inertia, etc., so that the active systems incorporated can then minimise energy wastage. Of course, we also make use of renewables including geothermal, biomass, photovoltaic, thermal and other energy sources.

Sustainable construction: saving water

Saving water is a must in sustainable construction. Water treatment and recovery must be factored in.

There are so many factors to be assessed that continual R&D&i is required to keep exploring new possibilities.
